Carolina Beach State Park Trail Half Marathon & 5K
The trail half marathon starts at 8:00 AM and the 5K at 8:30 AM. Packet pickup opens at 6:30 AM.

Special Olympics New Hanover County Polar Plunge & 5K
The day includes a 1-mile fun run and walk at 1:00 PM, a 5K at 1:30 PM, and the plunge from the beach north of the pier at 3:05 PM, plus vendors and…The day includes a 1-mile fun run and walk at 1:00 PM, a 5K at 1:30 PM, and the plunge from the beach north of the pier at 3:05 PM, plus vendors and food trucks. Steve Haydu St. Patrick's Lo Tide Run
The timed 10K starts at 8:00 AM, and the timed or untimed 5K for runners and walkers starts at 8:15 AM. The 2027 race marks the event's 23rd year.
