Carolina Beach &
Kure Beach, NC

Pleasure Island, NC events

Pleasure Island is the stretch of land south of Wilmington, NC, between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean, cut off from the mainland by Snow's Cut. It is home to the towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, plus Fort Fisher at the southern tip, with the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, the historic site and the NC Aquarium. This page lists upcoming events across the whole island in date order: festivals, live music, markets, library programs, fundraisers and community gatherings. Each listing links to the venue or organizer's own page, so details can be checked before heading out. More ways to browse: this weekend, tonight, live music, daily specials and happy hours, town government meetings, venues, Carolina Beach events and Kure Beach events. Listings are updated daily.
